Our furniture lines are divided into collections based on the craftsman that inspired the pieces, or the general feel that the collection gives. Each collection is a distinct slice of the Arts and Crafts, and each piece of furniture is a work all it's own. Our Limbert Lines collection was the first cohesive collection of furniture that we developed, and have since developed the others to exemplify our inspiration from several of the original craftsmen of the Arts and Crafts.
The
Limbert Lines Collection
The Limbert Lines Collection was
our original collection of furniture. Trapezoids and arches are a consistent
theme in this collection. Classic forms meld well in the company of even the
finest originals. Contemporary to Craftsman, the Limbert Lines collection can
fit well into any surroundings.
The
Aurora Collection
Our Aurora Collection is a family
of furniture heavily influenced by the artisans of Roycroft. Stout construction,
candle cutouts, and solid proportions make each and every piece in our Aurora
Collection a new classic in any room.
The
1901 Collection
Our 1901 Collection is based heavily on
the influences of Gustav Stickley's earlier works. Heavy construction and firm
lines exemplify this collection. It is eloquently refined without detraction
from the function of a true Gustav Stickley work. The 1901 collection is the
product of the mission furniture era in all it's simplistic, practical values.
The Custom Shop
Black River Mission was founded
on the design and construction of custom furniture. In the Custom Shop we have
some pieces that we have built through the years that have been truly unique and
a departure from the traditionalist mission furniture we typically build.
